Stuttgart Open: Shapovalov through to second round, will face Berrettini next

Canadian wildcard Denis Shapovalov advanced to the second round of the Stuttgart Open by winning against French qualifier Matteo Martineau 7-6 (5), 7-5 at Tennisclub Weissenhof Stuttgart on Tuesday.

Shapovalov, ranked No 117, will play Italian Matteo Berrettini next.
