Rehnstrom to Captain Men’s Basketball Team – Naval Academy Athletics

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Lysander Rehstrom has been selected to serve as the captain of the 2024-25 Navy men’s basketball team, head coach Ed DeChellis announced today.

Rehnstrom appeared in 24 games during the 2023-24 season and started the final seven games of the campaign.  He averaged 7.5 points and 2.1 triples a game over the final quarter of the season.

In the classroom, Rehnstrom has compiled a 3.64 cumulative grade-point average at Navy.  The operations research major from Reston, Va., has garnered academic honors from the USNA in three semesters and has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in each of his three seasons.
