Really? A new study named Jacksonville worst city for summer travel

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A recent study took a look at which U.S. cities were the best and the worst for summer travel.

Forbes Advisor analyzed each city in 3 categories:

  1. City experience

  2. Air travel experience

  3. Driving experience

There were 16 categories to score each with factors including crime rate, median hotel price during summer travel season, temperatures during June, July and August, number of restaurants and transit score — to name a few.

And, we have some bad news for the people who love Duuuval. Our beloved Jacksonville came in at #1 as the worst summer travel destination. The worst perfect grade ever, scoring 100 out of 100 for being a terrible summer vacation destination.

So, we want to hear from you. What do you think about Jacksonville being named worst city for a summer vacation?
