Freshman Sire Watch: Vekoma offspring win 4 of first 5 starts

The 2024 freshman sire crop is underway with 168 starts and 28 wins, and Vekoma is leading the way with a nearly perfect four winners from only five starters. All five of the Vekoma offspring started in maiden races, and here are their results.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to see whether Vekoma’s hot start continues. His next five starters are all scheduled to start Friday, with four running at Churchill Downs and one at Evangeline Downs.
